If you are an employer responsible for workers, you must identify and manage all work health and safety risks, including the exposure to COVID-19.

If the workplace is adopting appropriate measures such as handwashing, proper hygiene and social distancing, then it is likely you are doing all you can to prevent direct exposure to the likelihood of contracting COVID-19.

Employers should make appropriate arrangements so that workers who need to self-quarantine stay away from work and where possible, work from home.

Please be sure to highlight to your workers, your Workplace HR policies and your Working From Home Policy.

Employers are still entitled to continue monitoring staff productivity, work completion, use of company resources and compliance with company policies and procedures while staff are working from home.
