The Boarding and Pet Services sector has proven to be quite unique during the Covid-19 pandemic where the pet industry can broadly be said to have experienced significant growth, the boarding and services sector has lost as much as 90% of their business revenue.

The effects of the pandemic mandated geographical boarder shutdowns both internationally & domestic limiting travel to an all-time low with no reprieve on the horizon for some estimated further 2 years.

Therefore, the PIAA board and sub-committee believe that the short and long-term effects of Covid-19 as their primary focus for resolution with its membership base. We will be driving solutions in 3 main areas of members need:

1.    Cost effective marketing both traditional and social media of each members business location and services.

2.    Growing expertise and revenues beyond traditional boarding services.

3.    Training members and providing services to operate lean and efficient business’s through process to reduce operating cost.
