Tasmania’s first Pet Expo is coming to Launceston to celebrate all creatures great and small. A one day family friendly event held at the Launceston Silverdome promoting responsible pet ownership and the welfare of our native wildlife. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Tasmanian Animal Shelters.
The expo will host a large variety of exhibitors from across Tasmania who work within the animal industry selling products and sharing their passion for animal welfare and caring for our environment. Sustainable farming, environmentally friendly products and information will also be available.
Children will be invited to participate in hands on activities promoting responsible pet ownership and will be given the opportunity to view our furry, feathered and scaly friends at some of the exhibits and walk through the animal nursery. Pet show bags will also be available. The centre stage will host a variety of guest speakers and talented performing pets.
Vegetarian food will be available from the Silverdome Cafe and from a selection of food vans outside the main entrance with seating both inside and outside. This is an event not to be missed for all animal lovers of any age.
Our aim is to celebrate the animals in our life and educate as many people as possible to prevent cruelty to animals, protect our environment and support Tasmanian Animal Shelters so they are able to continue their amazing work.
