New fish species initiative…

The Aquarium Industry Association of Australia has been working hard to put forward a submissions to the Department of Agriculture, Water & Environment to have three fish added to the allowable imports list. Working with an environmental consultant through this initial process means there is somewhat of a blueprint for following assessments, so there should be a quicker turnaround on submissions moving forward. This is the first 3 species of 19. Submissions for the remaining species should be completed by the end of February.
