Councils across NSW are working hard to promote responsible pet ownership and improve the lifestyle of pet owners and their animals.

A pivotal part of these efforts is the provision of quality and accessible dog exercise areas in local communities.

The NSW Government is keen to help promote these efforts and the growing availability of off-leash beaches and parks and dog-friendly holiday spots to pet owners across the State.

The Government assists councils to provide dog exercise areas through the Companion Animals Fund.

If you think your council has one of NSW's best dog exercise areas, please email us some information and photos to media@olg.nsw.gov.au
