Key step forward to update animal welfare laws in NSW…

The Draft Animal Welfare Bill 2022 has been published on the NSW Department of Primary Industries’ website.

The release of the draft Bill marks an important step towards implementing the Government’s commitment to introduce modern animal welfare laws.

It has been based on about 6,000 responses from the community, received over two rounds of public consultation.
