RN Pet Grooms
Firstly, we are extremely passionate about animals. We have both been around animals for many years and wanted to work in an industry where we can make a difference and educate owners on the grooming process, which in turn gives the dogs and cats a more enjoyable life. Our journey working together started in July 2020 and we instantly bonded, recognising that we had the same ethos in our care, attention and wellbeing of the animals. This has certainly been the hardest year for so many people…..we started working together in a salon based in Camden NSW however on September 18th 2020 we discovered that our employers Grooming Salon was destroyed in a fire, the above restaurant falling into the salon with water & asbestos damage. Our livelihood was gone, and we had to find another way to continue the professional and reliable service that we felt we could give to customers.
We both agreed business must go on. We love our jobs and this industry too much to not give this our best shot, so we must rebuild together as a new venture, RN Pet Grooms. So, on the 23rd September, we opened in Prestons and built a professional, high end grooming salon with the best equipment to be able to give the pets the best grooming experience possible. We received financial support from friends, family and businesses to rebuild from scratch as we have not been given access to our equipment that was in the salon, years’ worth of building up our equipment, over $7000 worth of our own personal and professional equipment.
We can now proudly say we own a salon that can offer cat and dog grooming services with a Hydrosurge system which fuses shampoo, water and air to penetrate your pets coat for a thorough cleansing down to the skin and brings oxygen to the skin, leaving a cleaner, healthier coat along with a massaging action that animals love. It also cuts down the grooming process therefore making the grooming process a quick and efficient service that clients can fit around their busy lives. With experience in and certificates in Massage and Aromatherapy for pets , Natural Therapy for animals – Herbal Medicine, Dog grooming, Dangerous dog handling – Steve Austin, Animal studies cert 3, Companion animals cert 3, you can rest assure that we do it for the love of animals.
We work in a very methodical process and always have the animals needs as the most important part of our role as groomers. This is not just a job for us, it is a passion, and we will continue to work with animals to offer them a service that is not just enjoyable but something they look forward to!
