What to do if your business is linked to a COVID-19 case…
Updated guidelines for NSW businesses are available with advice for testing, isolating and contact tracing. There is also updated advice about what to do when a worker tests positive to COVID-19.
To help reduce the risk of your business becoming an exposure site make sure you:
have an up to date COVID-19 Safety Plan that you follow
display signs and posters stating requirements and valid forms of vaccination evidence, including printed versions
use the Service NSW QR codes to check in staff and customers
check proof of vaccination status before entry and only accept valid forms of vaccination evidence or medical exemptions, including printed versions.
COVID-Safe registered businesses that become a venue of concern will receive an email from Service NSW with the relevant details and links to helpful information about what steps business owners and managers need to take.
Your customers and staff who checked in on the day will also be notified of the COVID-19 case in the check-in history tab in the Service NSW app.
Please ensure your staff have the latest version of the Service NSW app and have opted in to receive push notifications so they receive the alerts.
