The Aquarium Vet looks forward to assisting you in improving the health of the fish and other aquatic animals in your aquarium or pet shop. To achieve this, we have developed several plans to give you options as to which best suits your needs.
Platinum Plan
Four half day (four hour) visits/year by The Aquarium Vet (all team members are fully qualified veterinarians)
The half day visit will include training sessions for staff (Introduction to Fish Health, Fish Parasites, Fish Disease, In House Sample Collection, Microscope Use, Biosecurity, Zoonoses)
Telephone / Email Consults Unlimited
Access to prescription medications (i.e. antibiotics) to be held on site, and then to be used only as directed by the Veterinarian (medications are an additional cost).
Diagnostic Services such as microscopy, microbiology, histopathology (additional fees apply)
Available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane metropolitan areas (regional areas and other States will incur travel costs)
Annual Contract paid in advance. PIAA Members Price $3,925.00 + GST (Normal Price is $4,500.00 + GST)

Gold Plan
Four two-hour visits/year by The Aquarium Vet (all team members are fully qualified veterinarians). Consults over two hours will be charged additional fees at our hourly rates (see below).
Time permitting, on site visits will include training sessions for staff (Introduction to Fish Health, Fish Parasites, Fish Disease, In House Sample Collection, Microscope Use, Biosecurity, Zoonoses)

Two two-hour visits per year. Consults over two hours will be charged additional fees at our hourly rates (see below).
Telephone / Email Consults (6/year)
Prescriptions for medications (i.e. antibiotics) are only available after a consult and for a specific problem. If outside of the 8 included consults (on-site and telephone or email), this will require an additional consult fee (medications are an additional cost).
Diagnostic Services such as microscopy, microbiology, histopathology (additional fees apply)
Available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane metropolitan areas (regional areas and other States will incur travel costs)
Annual Contract paid in advance
PIAA Members Price $1,325 + GST (Normal Price is $1,541 + GST)
Bronze Plan
On site consults on an as needed basis.

PIAA Members Hourly rate + 215.75 + GST (Normal Rate $249.50 + GST)
Staff Training
The Aquarium Vet offers in house training to staff covering a variety of topics including:
Introduction to fish disease
Parasite identification and management
Diagnostics, sample collections
Microscopy lessons
Biosecurity, zoonoses
And many more etc
We can customize these training sessions to your shop and interests. These training sessions will not only improve fish health in your shops, but also improve the ability of your staff to be able to provide better advice to your customers.
Some training is included in the platinum and gold plans. If you require training only, then the price is based on the hourly rate listed in the bronze plan. The above plans are only for fish and aquatic invertebrates that are within the aquarium shop. These plans do not include customer’s fish health.
